The way of clay is so simple! It’s easy to learn how to work with it and it’s rewarding right away. Working with clay gives us more focus and it’s relaxing at the same time. Before you know it your head gets clear and you forget about your daily problems. Also, what can be more fulfilling than creating something beautiful exactly the way you imagined it?

For who are the workshops?
Workshops are for everyone who wants to learn a new technique or already loves to work with their hands. As the number of participants is limited to 4, I can give you maximum individual attention and help you to personalize your craft.
What you can expect
- The workshops are in 2 parts of 2, half-hour each time. (However, you can choose to take a single workshop of 3 hours, in that case, we can glaze your work for you. )
- In the first part, you will learn the basic techniques and make at least two things.
- You will also learn how to personalize your work by using structures or bringing on other decorative elements.
- You can take inspiration from the available examples in the studio or work off your own imagination.
- There will be enough personal guidance to help you to apply techniques and make the right choices.
- After a week of drying, the work is going to be “bisque fired” in a ceramic oven.
- In the second part, you will get introduced to various glazing techniques for decoration. You can choose to work with engobes, underglazes, majolica colors, effect glazes and deep in glazes.
- The work that is glazed will be baked again and will be ready to be picked up within three weeks.

Once you start creating, the possibilities with clay are endless. One idea leads to another and in the meantime, you’ll be improving your skills as well.
If you feel like learning more or diving into creation with clay, you are welcome to try out one of my Courses. It doesn’t matter if you are advanced or a beginner. In fact, the best way to learn is from one another. This is why we work in groups with different skill levels mixed.
I feel like there are so many ways to work with clay, which feels very liberating.
